Dolphin watching
Experience the joy of watching dolphins in their natural habitat on one of our popular dolphin-watching tours. The waters around Kalpitiya are home to large pods of dolphins, where you can often see hundreds of these playful creatures frolicking in the crystal-clear waters.
The best months for dolphin watching are from November to April, making this a perfect activity on no-wind days.
Duration and price: The tour starts at 5 a.m. in front of our Hiru Beach resort and takes about four hours. It is semi-private, with a maximum of 6 guests on the boat. The price per person is 46€, which includes transfers, equipment, and an ecological conservation ticket.
